How Are You Protecting Your Business?

  • Are you self-employed and on a limited budget?
  • Do you have problems collecting judgments owed you or your company?
  • Will employee domestic violence affect your workplace?
  • Could your employees be stealing from you?

According to the FBI, a violent murder occurs in the workplace every 19 minutes. T. A. Brown, freelance writer and researcher, has brought together a compilation of articles written by skilled security experts nationwide on topics that offer solutions to a wide range of security issues.

  • Could your trusted employees be stealing from you?

Scott Castleman began his career in 1985 when at the age of 15 joined a police cadet / explorer program with a local law enforcement agency. For three years he excelled in the program and then began a successful career in loss prevention with various National retail stores. Castleman's compulsion for continued knowledge and impressive training resume has made him one of the most well trained and experienced investigators in the Pacific Northwest. He is well known within the business community for his pro-active approach to crime prevention and is a recognized author of several private detective training manuals and has appeared on numerous television networks and other media outlets. Paul Tulenko, Syndicated Small Business Columnist Said: "A dynamite table of contents puts answers to your security questions right in front of you. The 'answers' are provided by people who have 'done it', which makes them all the more specific and useable. It's my opinion that this book ought to be on your bookshelf where you can pull it down, look-up a challenge, and see how someone out there solved it."

  • Can you protect yourself and your family against stalkers?

David P. Roberts, a former Supervisory Officer of the Royalty & Diplomatic Protection Department, an officer of the Metropolitan Police, New Scotland Yard, London, and who was once the bodyguard for Whitney Houston whom the movie The Bodyguard was based upon, gives detailed instructions on how you can protect yourself against threats to your person and your family whether you are traveling, at work, or at home.

  • One of the miscellaneous tips found in the Business Security book:

Almost all bugging devices work on an FM frequency because they are simply wireless transmitters. If you think a room is bugged, have a radio tuned to an AM station in the room with the volume turned up fairly loud. Then use another radio tuned to an FM station and start turning the dial very slowly, starting at the bottom of the numbers. If you hear the station that the radio was tuned into from the AM station on your FM radio, then you know you are bugged. If you hear a squeal or feedback that means you are getting closer to the bug. The more squealing or feedback, the closer you are getting.
